  Sense of security

  i'd like to invite everyone to comment on this subject.

  the only thing i will add at this point is that it isn't only a matter of physical security, but one does derive a sense of security from how they view the world.

  this isn't always an accurate view, as most of us on this board will agree with atleast one example, but it is a way to make sense of things.

  what it feels like to be reinstated

  i just got reinstated about 3 months ago and i am still trying to adjust.

  i got baptized right before i turned 16, got disfellowshipped not even a year later.

  then another year later i get reinstated.

  ex-JW's : Would you go to war?

  my ex-brother in law phoned this morning and asked me how i felt about going to war now that i'm not in the org anymore.

  with so many years of being told not to i wonder how many of us still feel that way.

  would you be worldly conscientious objectors or would you defend...etc.... i'm not trying to antaganize or be inappropriate.

  dont be fooled jw`s you say that jesus is the way to god (yeh).

  but you dont believe jesus is god you also obey the ten commandments?

  then if this is the case, you are breaking them god say don` have no other gods before me fo i am a jelous god if you are putting jesus as a way to god the dont you think god will be angry?

  Dfd and looking toward re-instatment

  i have been dfd since i turned 19, i aux, pioneered for a short time and then selfishly went after the fruits of the flesh.

  smoking, sex, drinking, drugs, etc.... the thing i couldn't, or wouldn't, see at the time was that i was acting selfishly.

  it didn't matter what others in the cong.

  well, this is my first anniversary and i am feeling good about it.

  i wanted to take some time to thank everyone for helping me with my freedom.

  i was physically, emotionally, sexually abused.

  the tramas in my life were so great that i split into many.
